Loss of appetite is characterized by poor appetite despite the physical need for food. It is normal to experience a temporary loss of appetite; however, if it lasts for more than a day or two, it can be a sign of a serious condition such as depression, cancer or eating disorder. It may also result to malnutrition, weight loss, and lack of energy and impaired healing.
Factors that can increase one’s chances of losing their appetite for food:
Infections such as pneumonia, hepatitis, HIV, influenza, pyelonephritis, etc., Cancer of any kind, Inflammation in the bowels or gut (pancreatitis, IBS), Psychiatric conditions (depression, schizophrenia),
Medications or drugs (alcohol, narcotics, antibiotics, cancer drugs, etc.), Pregnancy, particularly within the 1st trimester.

Papita (Carica papaya) is used in digestion problems, diarrhea, hay fever, runny nose, psoriasis, cancer, treating infected wounds, sores, ulcers, intestinal worms, and other conditions.
Kutki (Picrorhiza kurroa) is used jaundice, acute viral hepatitis, fever, allergy, and asthma. It is also used to treat skin conditions including eczema and vitiligo, a disorder that causes white patches on the skin. It is also used for digestion problems including indigestion, constipation, and ongoing diarrhea.
Dhania (Coriandrum sativum) is commonly used to treat dysfunction in digestive system including vomiting peristaltic movements, diarrhea and colon ulcers.
Jeera (Cuminum cyminum) acts as a galactogogue, carminative and aids digestive system function better. It is used in treating inflammation, indigestion, and flatulence. It purifies blood, promotes healthy reproductive organ, in both male and female, increases milk flow in nursing mothers, and acts an aphrodisiac.
Nagarmoth (Cyperus rotundus) has very good digestive and carminative properties. It is an effective killer of intestinal worms, a diuretic and anti-pyretic medicine.
Patol patra (Trichosanthes dioica) has been used for overcoming problems like constipation, fever, skin infection, wounds. It is provided with an intention to improve appetite, digestion and cures acidity.
Pudina satva (Mentha piperita) is excellent remedy for treatment of indigestion, cramps, flatulence, nausea, vomiting and colic. It has a soothing effect on the stomach, and can also be an appetite stimulant.
Trikatu is used in indigestion, colds, loss of appetite, intestinal worms, bloating & flatulence, toothache, pains, cough, eczema, fever, excessive thirst, pimples etc. It has analgesic, tonic, stimulant and carminative properties. Its stimulant action aids digestion and is especially useful in atonic dyspepsia and torbid condition of the stomach. It will correct acidity, flatulence and nausea.

INDICATION:
APEE is a digestive tonic and appetizer. APEE tones up alimentary canal, improves appetite, regulates digestion, normalize liver function, regulates stool forming process and thus relieves symptoms commonly associated with disturbances of gastrointestinal tract.
Symptoms related to Irritable bowel symptom: – Pain abdomen, dyspepsia, painless morning diarrhoea, abdominal distension & excessive flatus.
Symptoms related to Peptic Ulcer Symptom:- Epigastric pain, hunger pain, night pain, water brash, heartburn, loss of appetite, sense of repletion after meals.

USAGE AND BENEFIT
APEE is a non-habit forming Digestive tonic and appetizer. APEE tones up alimentary canal, improve appetite, regulate digestion, normalize liver function, regulate stool-forming process and thus relieve symptoms commonly associated with disturbances of Gastro-intestinal tract.

DOSAGE
One capsule twice a day with water before meal as appetizer and after meal as digestive or as directed by the physician.
